Ask my AI
The questions owners actually ask. Answered in my words.
These are the real questions I get from business owners — over dinner, after talks, in first meetings. The answers are mine; the delivery is a machine's. Which is rather the point.
More than you think, and sooner than you think — but not in the way the headlines say. It won't replace your firm. It will quietly change what your clients consider normal: how fast, how cheap, how good. The risk isn't a robot taking your job; it's a competitor resetting expectations while you weren't looking. The opportunity is that almost nobody in your industry has looked properly yet. The gap between what the technology can do and what your competitors know it can do — that's the space you get to move in.
Three honest checks. One: have you personally used these tools on your own work in the last month — not a demo, your actual work? Two: can you name what changed between the last two model generations? Three: do you know what your most ambitious competitor is piloting right now? If the answers are no, no, and no — you're not behind everyone. You're behind the people who answered yes. And they're the ones you're actually racing.
Budget is not your constraint — attention is. Start with the work you do every week: take one process, run it through the best available tools yourself, and look hard at the result. It will be sixty percent as good as your people, and that number should worry and excite you in equal measure. You don't need a transformation program to learn. You need a month of honest experiments, and someone to help you read the results.
I fill in one specific gap: what the technology can actually do, applied to your business. You bring the domain — you know your clients, your margins, and your people better than I ever will. I bring the other half: what's real now, what's coming, and what it means for how you make money. We map it, we sequence it, and then you decide what to do — with me, with ZILLIONe, or on your own. I'm not selling you software. I'm selling you a clearer view.
When you already know what you're building. Advisory with me is about the map — what's possible, what matters, in what order. ZILLIONe is what I reach for when the map is settled and the work needs a team: systems to build, processes to re-engineer, people to enable. Since 1979, that's what the company does. Plenty of people start with a conversation with me and end up there. Some don't. Both are good outcomes.
Because it's the whole strategy in three words. Better and faster are obvious — every technology wave promises those. "Differently" is where the money is. When a tool changes what's possible, copying your old process with new software wastes most of the value. The firms that win each wave are the ones who ask: knowing what this can do now, how would we design the business today? That question doesn't expire. The answers do — which is why you keep asking it.
